A voice from the community

Twyla Cato is a living testimony to resilience, faith, and unconditional love. Having survived homelessness with four children and overcome domestic violence, she serves our unhoused neighbors across Oklahoma City with an empathy born from real, lived experience. In memory of her baby boy who transitioned to Heaven at the age of twenty, she gives back tirelessly whenever she has resources to provide hot meals, essential items, and prayer to those living on the streets. What does the community have to say about her compassion.?

A Walking Testimony Living Out Her Vision...

"My mother is a living testimony of strength and faith. Watching her turn our family's pain, survival, and the heartbreaking loss of my brother into unconditional love and warm meals for people on the streets inspires me every single day."

Twyla's oldest son, Domonique Cato

"Too often, the line of hungry neighbors exceeds what one person can provide alone. Twyla is carrying this life-saving burden almost completely on her own, driven by pure compassion, driving across the city to feed and pray over our unhoused neighbors."
