During a busy rush hour, our founder, Twyla Cato, pulled over near a crowded sidewalk to check on a man sitting alone on the concrete. Even with cars honking and traffic building up, helping him mattered more.

At first, he yelled—he was exhausted and worn down from life on the streets. But that changed when Twyla offered him a few different hot meal plates, cold bottled waters, and someone willing to listen. What started as a tense moment turned into laughter, real conversation, and heartfelt prayer right there on the curb.

Moments like this are a reminder that everyone living on the streets deserves to be seen, heard, and fed. We want to keep bringing hope to our unhoused neighbors and helping save lives, one person at a time. This is Will, and he’s family now!
